Private Hospital Convenes Greece’s Finest

INTERNATIONALLY acclaimed state-of-the-art private hospital, Iaso

Quality is the key driver at Iaso, Greece’s finest state-of-the-art private hospital in Athens which provides top quality services to both national and international visitors. Founded in 1996, Iaso (which means the muse of life in Greek) is owned and managed by the doctors working there - shareholders number more than 1,000 doctors and surgeons. The hospital’s philosophy of superior care is based on four factors: the compassion and experience of its doctors, the positive experience of its patients, the use of the latest technological advances, and effective management strategies.

Internationally recognized for the careful selection of its specialists, as well as for its uniquely democratic administrative and medical infrastructure, Iaso is planning to spend $200 million on expanding into the neighboring Balkan countries, in addition to its current expansion within Greece.

We are planning the establishment of a hospital unit in Southern Athens and after that we will look at the regions.” The hospital’s widespread services will expand to include cosmetic surgery and its own insurance plan.

With 2001 profits of $18 million, Iaso is a top investor choice. Mr. Poulis states, “Greece is enjoying a healthcare boom that any partner would profit from entering. The country could become a hub for healthcare, not only in this region but in all of Europe.
