ANGOLA - LETTER
Letter from Stephen Hayes, President of the CCA

Abundant natural resources. Rapidly expanding economy. Pro-American business climate. These words are frequently used to describe Africa’s emerging markets, but in the case of Angola they ring especially true. Few African countries are more important to U.S. interests than Angola. Since 1993, The Corporate Council on Africa (CCA) and its more than 170 members have been at the forefront of promoting increased trade with and investment in Africa by American businesses. Whether in agribusiness, infrastructure, tourism or a myriad of other sectors, the climate for doing business in Africa is both promising and profitable on an unprecedented scale. Angola is establishing a sound framework for sustained economic growth. CCA joins with its partners at the U.S.-Angola Chamber of Commerce in encouraging American investors to act now and take a serious look at the opportunity called Angola.
